| Theatre Power
was founded in 1978 when theatre in Tring was going through a time of
change with a number of new groups being formed, mostly by performers
without any appreciable technical input. We have now grown into
a company with resources able to support two or three productions
simultaneously, and customers over a fifty mile radius from Tring.
Our aim is still to provide an
economic service to schools, musicians and drama groups. Our
service provides for all needs from provision of free technical advice
or hire of a single lantern to complete design, provision and
operation of a show with a dozen specialist technicians handling power
control, lighting, sound, communication, television, stage management
and special effects
The company is owned and
operated by the founder Peter Skidmore, together with John Collier who
joined us when the company was in its infancy. |
